About Me

Hi and welcome to the 8th grade! I am a Third year teacher and graduated from Winthrop University. I also have just finished my masters in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University. I am from York, SC but moved to the Greenville area after graduation. I live with my college roommate, Madison, and we have 3 dogs, Maggie, Maya and Rocky. I love to take the dogs to parks and find new adventures. I love bingeing shows on Netflix or Hulu. I also like watching sports; baseball and football are my favorite! I also coach softball for Mauldin Middle School. I chose to teach math because it has always been my favorite subject in school. I like to push myself and students to be better than the day before. I feel that other than learning, the most important thing is to make connections with the students and build relationships with their families.
