Students will be marked tardy if they arrive after 7:45. The school day begins at 7:45 and the students need to be in the classroom ready to begin the day. If they arrive after 7:45 they will need to be walked in and check in at the office and receive a tardy note to give their teacher.

Breakfast - Breakfast is served until 7:30 each day. Breakfast is free for everyone. This year we will be eating breakfast and lunch in our classroom. Please let me know of any food allergies.

Morning Arrival - The building will open each day at 7:00a.m. Students arriving before 7:30 will sit in the Kindergarten hall with a teacher. At 7:30 they will go in their classroom and eat breakfast. Students will pick up a breakfast bag in the cafeteria each morning as they walk to our classroom.

Afternoon Dismissal - Car riders will remain in the classroom and watch for their name on the Promethean Board and walk out when they see their name. Please remember to have their colored car tag in the front windshield. School dismisses at 2:15.

Bus Riders - Mrs. Buie will take bus riders and day care riders to the gym to load on their respective buses or day care vans.

Kindergarten Folders - Your child will have a Green Kindergarten Folder that needs to be returned to school each day. There is a pouch for money and folders for weekly news and papers that need to be signed and returned. Mrs. Buie will check the folders each morning. All completed work from home should go in the green folder.

Homework Folders - Students have a yellow homework folder. Homework is due on Friday of each week. All written homework should be completed in the homework folder on the paper provided.

Click on the link below to read about our school behavior system. In my classroom I use the Dr. Seuss clip system. Moving up on the chart is a great day! Each day they will have a calendar in their folder showing behavior for the day. Each student has a punch card and when you receive 10 punches you get to go to the treasure box to pick a prize.
