Before my time at Monarch, I spent eight years as a teacher at Gateway Elementary, where I was honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year. I earned a BS in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University and an MA in School Leadership from Furman University. I am a graduate of the GCS Aspiring Principals Institute and Instructional Leadership Academy, and was trained in project-based learning by PBL Works, formerly the Buck Institute for Education.
