WELCOME!

Welcome to my website! It will be definitely be an exciting school year for me. This is my ninth year in Riverside/USA.

Physics is a basic science. It can explain a lot of everyday situations and even phenomena on and outside the earth. In our class, we will answer these questions:

- Why is the sky blue?

- Why are doorknobs placed far from the hinges?

- Why are red, yellow and green the colors for traffic lights?

- Why is it difficult for a big delivery truck to change lanes?

- And a lot more...

We will also be integrating math in Physics. Just like what they say, Math is the language of Physics. There will be equations and problem solving but do not get overwhelmed. We will go over each equation one at a time.

Physics also has a lot of laws (Laws of Motion, Hooke's Law, Ohm's Law, etc). The best way to verify these laws is by conducting experiments. Expect to work in groups whenever we have lab work.

Lastly, we will be working on projects like Egg Drop Device, Balloon Racer and Catapult. For the projects, you can work in groups or you may work by yourself. Rubrics will be provided.

This website allows you to learn Physics even if you are not physically present in the classroom. This will also help you make up for the lessons or assignments you will miss.
