It is an honor to welcome you to Thomas E. Kerns Elementary School. Our teachers and staff work diligently to optimize the conditions for your child’s success. We are committed to each student’s care and well-being, social and academic development, and continued school improvement.

Our leadership team supports a teaching and learning culture that meets the needs of each student. School staff, parents, families, faith-based and business partners, PTA, and our community all play a major role in preparing students for college and career readiness and productive and contributing citizenship. The Greenville County Graduation Plus initiative prepares students for graduation plus college credit and/or industry certification. The foundation for those achievements begins here at Thomas E. Kerns.
