About me

Hello! My name is Ms. Sauro and I am so excited for another year as a Bryson Bear! I can't wait to be your teacher and meet all of you!

I am originally from Rhode Island and I attended the University of South Carolina. After I graduated I taught 2nd grade, and Kindergarten in Columbia, SC. Now, this is going to be my third year teaching First Grade here at Bryson! Last year I received my Masters Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Grand Canyon University. I am a life-long learner, and hope to instill my love for learning in my class!

A few things that I love to do are go to the beach, go boating, travelling, reading and watching sports. I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan, New England Patriots fan, and Carolina Gamecocks fan! I also LOVE my beagle-corgi mix dog that I rescued! Most of my family still lives in Rhode Island. My brother is in the military and he is stationed in Savannah, GA. Family is so important to me and I really value the time I get to spend with them.
