About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Davis. I am the Multilingual Learner Program Teacher at Beck Academy. This is my 6th year teaching Middle School students!

I moved to South Carolina 4 years ago from New York with my husband, our 2 pet snakes and a bunch of fish. Greenville has quickly become our new home and we love it. I have a 1 year old boy who always keeps me laughing! 

I have been working with children of all ages for almost 15 years. Teaching is something I have always been passionate about and I am excited to be here!

Course Description

ESOL Level A is designed to help students improve their reading comprehension of varied approaching grade level texts and develop writing fluency and quality. There is a heavy focus within each unit on reading skills, complex grammar skills, and language function.

El Nivel A de ESOL está diseñado para ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su comprensión de lectura de textos variados que se acercan al nivel de grado y desarrollar la fluidez y la calidad de la escritura. Hay un gran enfoque dentro de cada unidad en las habilidades de lectura, habilidades gramaticales complejas y función del lenguaje.
