Powersports Technology


Powersports Technology is a one year program where students have the opportunity to learn about two- and four-stroke engine configurations and theory, wheels, tires, brakes, drive and clutch systems, electrical basics, systems, and troubleshooting, service writing and parts management, maintenance, and engine rebuilding.  Students will learn the different aspects and positions in a dealership with a focus on service technician. 

Students will earn OSHA-10 certifications, along with Yamaha and Polaris certifications as part of their ongoing training. 

The goal of this program is to prepare students for an entry-level position in the powersports industry. Possible positions include service technician, service writer, parts and accessories, and salesperson.
