                                               About our Class

Due to diverse student abilities, this class is labeled multi-categorical.   I use a variety of instructional strategies such as whole class instruction, small group instruction, and individual instruction to ensure all students receive the most appropriate instruction. We have two adults in the room to assist with students: myself and Mrs. Hafer. We are able to ensure that each student gets the individual assistance they need to be successful in the classroom and school environment.

Speech therapy is also provided for students who qualify.  These services are provided in individual or small group settings.

                             Learning and Developmental Goals

My goal is to help your child be as independent as possible and I hope to actively engage them in learning.  An overall review of all subject areas will be based on the individual goals and objectives of each student’s individual education plan.  A variety of instructional approaches will be utilized to accommodate the adverse levels of each of my students.
