Cellphone, Earbuds, and Electronic Devices Usage:
During Class Time:
All student cell phones and personal electronic devices must be stored out of sight while in class. These devices can be stored in:
This also includes accessories such as earbuds, headphones, and smartwatches. Listening devices used in conjunction with school-issued Chromebooks will still be allowed at the teacher’s discretion.
Outside of Class Time:
Students may use their cell phones for education-related activities outside of class time such as:
Checking grades/assignments
Communicating with teachers
Working on school group projects
Navigating the district Backpack system, Classlink, or approved educational applications
Other uses, such as playing games, posting on social media, and listening to music, are prohibited. Accessories such as earbuds, headphones, and gaming systems must remain stored out of sight throughout the school day.
Consequences for Violations:
1st offense: School Detention
2nd offense: 1 day of ISS
3rd offense: 1 day of OSS
