ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of Clemson University and the SC Governor’s School for Science and Math. Having spent several years in the printing industry, in the nonprofit sector, and as a working artist, I appreciate how math is applicable in the “real world” and I strive to communicate that relevance to my students. I am a graduate of the Greenville Alternative Teaching Certification program's third cohort, and taught at League Academy and the Greenville Virtual School before moving to JLMann. 

I grew up in Conway, SC, but I lived in Texas and then Maine before settling in Greer in 2007. I enjoy playing Nintendo games with my daughters, drawing, acting, all things geeky, nighttime gardening, and reading science fiction short stories.
