Hello!

My name is Hillary Looper and I will be your 8th grade social studies teacher this school year. I am very excited to begin my fifth year at Greenville Middle Academy. South Carolina History and United States History during my own 8th grade year of school is what truly sparked my interest and passion to become a social studies teacher. I am so excited to share my passion for our state with my students this year!

This year brings many changes! I may have had the pleasure of teaching you this past school year in 7th grade. I am very excited to have some of you for a second year, meet new students, and see familiar faces.

As a graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate, I received a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Secondary Education Social Studies, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Educational Technology Leadership.
