Welcome to the GMS Jackets Library! Have you ever wanted to climb Mt. Everest? Survive on a deserted island? Join a Quest to save the world? Solve puzzles to crack the case?

Well, now you can! Here, in the books you'll find, you can escape to other worlds, see life through other peoples' eyes. You can become someone else for a hundred or more pages. 

And, if you're looking for something more hands-on, you can enjoy our Makerspace and build with robots, make LEGO creations, and unleash your inner creativity. Or perhaps you'd like to do a puzzle or play a board game. All that and more is available in your Jackets Library.

Just remember - in order to use the library, you are agreeing to our Social Contract! 

Greer Middle Yellow Jackets Library Mission: 

The mission of the Greer Middle School Library Program is to promote cross-curricular instruction through the use of collaboration between media specialist and teacher, provide a place for students to discover new worlds by becoming lifelong readers, and teach valuable twenty-first century skills to ensure students are successful upon graduation.
