Welcome to the Donaldson Career Center Esthetics program.

1 Year Program

The Esthetics program is designed to prepare students to take the national certification exam. Esthetics students receive training in the art and science of care and beautification of skin. The course study includes instruction in skin diseases, disorders, chemistry, anatomy, skin physiology, treatment services, professional development and business basics. Facials, waxing, tweezing, make-up, and skin analysis are incorporated by means of theory and practical application on both mannequins and models. Forty hours of classroom instruction are required before students receive practical, hands-on opportunities to apply skills.
