ATTENDANCE

• Students should turn in an excuse for ALL absences within 3 days of returning to school. 

• Students are allowed 10 absences. Absences in excess of 10 days will not be considered excused with a parent/note unless accompanied by medical documentation. 

• Without a note, ALL absences are unexcused.

• Notes can be sumitted by the student in the front office, online or emailed, and faxed to the front office. 

• TRUANCY: If a student has 3 or more consecutive unexcused absenses or 5 total unexcused absences an attendance intervention conference will be scheduled with attendance clerk. 

TARDIES

• Any student not in class by 8:30 is tardy and should report to the front office for a pass.

• EXCUSED TARDIES: Only students who arrive late to school with a valid doctor's note, on a late bus, or with a court document will be excused. 

• UNEXCUSED TARDIES: Each student is permitted 4 unexcused tardies per semester without consequence. 

• 5th unexcused tardy a parent phone call will be made. 

• 6th unexcused tardy Lunch Detention will be assigned. 

• 7th and all subsequent tardies within a semester, a referral will be processed with a consequence.
