Hello, my name is Adira Wiseman, and I'm excited to introduce myself to you!
I was born in Belarus, near the Polish border when it was part of the former USSR. Early in my career there, I worked for 3 years as an auditor in the government-owned system of restaurants and cafes, gaining valuable experience in financial oversight and operations.
For the past 30 years, my family and I have called Bellevue, Washington our home. Three years ago, however, marks a new adventure as I settle into life in Greenville, South Carolina.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from City University, and alongside my husband, Samuel, we pursued further education at Keller Graduate School of Management. There, I earned an MBA in Financial Management and International Business, as well as a Master of Project Management (MPM).
Before transitioning to teaching, I brought extensive real-world business experience to my career. For 15 years, I managed a non-profit organization, where I oversaw operations, finances, and team leadership. I also owned and operated my own business in the transportation industry for 5 years. In addition, I have deep accounting expertise across various sectors—including transportation, construction, and real estate—where I set up complete accounting systems and trained others on how to use them effectively. My background also includes hands-on experience in payroll processing and taxation.
I am proud to be the mother of two wonderful sons: Edward, who is 29, and Stephan, who is 25. Embracing positivity is a central theme in my life. I cherish every moment and deeply value the people around me.
I look forward to connecting with you, sharing my practical insights from the business world, and being part of our high school community!
