What's Coming Up

Cell phones should remain off the risers or away from any area where we are actively working unless given permission by Mr. Reid. They can be placed in the cell phone rack, charging station, or in your bookbags, but should not be on your person on the risers (even if they are in a pocket or “put away”). Violations of cell phone policy include any phone being seen or heard on the risers or any working area at any point you are in the room, no matter how they are being used. Phones may be accessed during breaks. 

Examples of Cell Phone Policy violations:

• A phone in your pocket rings in the middle of class (phone was on the risers)

• You are texting a parent during class (phone is in use during instructional time)

• You pull out a phone to check the time (phone was on the risers)

• You are on your phone in a sectional rehearsal (phone was in an area where you were actively working)

Consequences

• 1st Offense: Verbal Warning and Parent Contact

• 2nd Offense: Parent Contact / Lunch Detention

• 3rd+ Offense: Office Referral
