Mrs. Claffey's 7th Grade ELA

My name is Amanda Claffey and I am excited to join the Northwood Middle School community! Although I am new to Northwood, this will be my 10th year teaching. I recently moved to SC from Hendersonville, NC, where I taught 7th/6th grade ELA and social studies.  

I am orginally from Rhode Island, but I've found a love for the mountains and spend as much time outdoors as I can--hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing are some of my favorite activities! Outside of school, I stay busy with my husband, our two boys--Oliver (4) and Clark (2)--and our sweet dog, Romeo.
