Online Piano Lessons
I’m Evan - a Horton student with two years of piano teaching experience - and I’m expanding my student roster! I have many methods of teaching beginners and current players, and my approach to teaching piano combines engaging online technology, interactive games, classical methods, and more - all in the comfort of your home! Any video call platform will work!
Now online to ensure everyone stays healthy!

Charms
Charms is the program we use to communicate to everyone and track important information about your instrument, performance dates and details, fundraisers, etc. With Charms, you can confirm your instrument and library items assigned to you, double check your attendance at rehearsals, keep your contact information up-to-date, and volunteer to help with Music Parents fundraisers.

The first time you log in, the Student ID and password are the same - the student gnspes user name. Please contact Stephen Cameron (stephen.cameron@gnspes.ca) if you require the password to be reset.

Senior Concert Band - Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00am
For Grade 10, 11, and 12 students (or for grade 9's by invitation or audition).
Senior Jazz Combo - Mondays at 3:25pm
For grade 11 and 12 students (or grade 9/10 players by invitation or audition.)

Glee Club - Thursdays at 3:25pm
For students at any grade level. This group is by audition only.
Music Executive:
For all students. This group is the student 'government' of the music department. See Mr. Cameron for details.
Tech Crew:
For students at any level. This group runs the sound and lights and stage during school events as well as outside bookings. The crew meets every Thursday at recess in the music room.

Horton Music Parents Association
The Music Parents Association is the driving force behind the very successful music program at Horton High School. The group meets regularly on the first Monday of each month in the evening to plan and work on fund-raisers, developing support systems for the music director, and supporting the students in any way possible. Every parent of every music student is a member of the Music Parents Association. Please consider volunteering to help on the executive; it is indeed a worthwhile endevour!
