The main direction of research in Soft Matter Photonics Laboratory is designing and developing advanced photonic devices based on soft matters such as liquid crystals, polymers, gels, elastomers, and cellulose nanocrystals. Meanwhile, we also work for the development of new fabrication and test technologies. Our research locates at the interface between physics, materials science and engineering.

Our laboratory is located in the Science and Engineering Building II of the Department of Opto-Electronic Engineering, National Dong Hwa University.
