Fox West Virtual 5k Run/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

With all the uncertainty associated with Covid-19, Fox West Academy and its race coordinators have decided to hold our annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run VIRTUALLY. With so many community events being canceled or postponed as of late, we hope this news lifts your spirits. Thankfully, running as individuals or with our families, remains a safe option for us to lean on during these trying times. It is our hope that we can bring a sense of community to our running through sharing our participation in virtual events like this. Despite several obvious changes, we are excited to share that 5K entrants will still receive tech running shirts, medals will be awarded, and proceeds will still benefit student learning.

What: 9th Annual Fox West 5K Run/Walk VIRTUALLY

When: Anytime between Friday, May 22 - Saturday, May 30

How does a virtual race work?

You can run, record, and submit your virtual 5K between Friday, May 22 - Saturday, May 30. There are a handful of phone apps that can track your run stats. More information to follow.

Virtual Registration Prices

$20 Individual

$50 per family (all members of a family sharing the same address)

Incentives:

Tech T-Shirt

Top three male and female 5K division finishers receive medals.

Overall top male and female in 5K receive trophy.

Be part of a creative solution to canceled/postponed community events.

All proceeds will benefit Fox West Academy’s learning initiatives.

Results:

Results will be posted Sunday May 31, by 12 noon
