Results of the Tri-Meet with NAC and HSA
It was an exciting weekend of fast swimming at the NAC Spring Classic. After all was said and done, Excel was the top finisher over Huntsville Swim Association and Nashville Aquatics Club who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. We gained 8 new SES qualifiers, growing the championship team to a total of 102 swimmers.
A huge "Thank You!" goes out to all the Excel Officials who represented a majority of the officiating crew throughout every session. More impressively is that many of them no longer have their own swimmers in the meet.

New Team Member Orientation
New Team Member Orientation
If you are new to the Excel family, or still have questions about our weird and wonderful sport, then you should plan to attend the upcoming orientation meeting. General questions about meet entries, billing, and accounts will be covered. Specific questions regarding your swimmer's training and/or progress WILL NOT covered. The meeting will be held at the Brentwood ISC on May 12, 2022 from 5:30-6:15pm.
Swim Instructors Needed
Swim Instructors Needed
We are looking for summer swim instructors to work with our swim school. It's a great way to help teach an important life skill, introduce new swimmers into the Excel Family, and even earn extra summer cash. If you are age 15 or older, have experience with all four competitive strokes, and want to train the next generation of Excel swimmers then this is the perfect opportunity for you. If you are a Senior swimmer with Excel, we are happy to work around your practice/meet schedule and in most cases your summer travel. Interested candidates should contact the Swim School Director at your site, listed below.

Death Valley Open Water Swim
Death Valley Open Water Swim
The 2022 Death Valley Open water race will be on Saturday, June 4th in Clemson SC. This is a rare opportunity to race open water in preparation to sending athletes to Open Water Nationals in 2023. Like last year, we will also tag on a white water rafting trip in Ocoee, TN on Friday June 3rd. This will be a 3 hour afternoon trip that is open to all swimmers and their families (12 and older) and the cost is $45/person. All costs will be charged to your Excel account. Note- The Southeastern LSC has decided to not send a team to Open Water Zones so this opportunity becomes even more important.
