The school prides itself on a curriculum taught in Swedish and English, giving students the opportunity to gain an excellent command of the English language.

The library at IES Linköping is integral to developing fluency in both languages. Our library considers books in Swedish and English to be equally important, allowing students to develop a high level of literacy.

Books are categorised into age appropriate sections, encouraging independent learning in our pupils and helping them to find a book that best fits their needs.

Our school is multicultural, many students have languages other than Swedish or English as their mother tongue. To reflect this the library provides books in various languages including Arabic and many more.

We are an important part of school life, used for both lessons and recreational time. Students are able to study, research or escape into a good book at any time of the school day. It is a warm and friendly environment where students can learn, create and be inspired.
