😊     Welcome to 4th Grade! 😊  

     I am so happy you are in my class.  It is going to be a fun and exciting year!  

Important Parent Notes: 

~ Planners: Each student will be given a planner.  Students are responsible for dating and writing their assignments in their planners each day.  Planners should be used every night to complete the assigned homework. PLEASE check that your child has completed the assigned work and SIGN the planner each night.  It is a very important communication tool between home and school.

~ Google Classroom: Information regarding daily assignments and homework will be posted in your child's Math and Science Google Classrooms.  Please use this resource to see what your child is doing in school, for extra practice/review and when your child is absent.

Math:  We use the ZEARN Math Program.  To learn more about this program, click here.  In addition to Zearn, the students will be using the Rocket Math Program to practice their facts.  Students will spend about 5 minutes each day completing Rocket Math.  The goal is to pass one level each week.  Students are encouraged to log in from home for additional practice.  Finally, study guides will be assigned for each ZEARN mission (unit).  Solving problems similar to those on the study guides is the best way to prepare and study for the math tests.

Science:  For science, the students will be using Mystery Science.
