“Endless paths”

Those are some words that a well-versed traveler might utter. Travelers must endure and surpass hurdles to arrive at their desired destination. Sometimes, choosing longer route is worth to take, it help us becoming street-wise and discerning things at its truest form. Truly, travelers are nurtured by their experiences and honed over the years.

Nevertheless, education is like a journey. One could choose his own route, it might be a well-versed master teacher, school head or as supervisor. Also, it has challenges along the way, juggling task after task, meeting multiple deadlines, dealing with colleagues and accepting far flung designation. Education is an “endless path” in a sense that a teacher must keep on improving his methodologies and strategies of teaching that would cater 21st century learners.

June 8, 2021 marks another milestone for Ma’am Maribel S. Arellano as she accept the voyage to be the Public Schools District Supervisor of Sta.Ana District. Casambalangan Elementary School as host headed by the dynamic Principal III Madam Soledad M. Sampayan together with Ma’am Arvenafe A. Leaño Principal II, Ma’am Emma Fe U. Bumanglag Head Teacher III, Ma’am Emelita S. Alibania Head Teacher III warmly welcome the newly promoted PSDS Ma’am Maribel to the her new home Sta.Ana. Despite the distance from her hometown Tuao, Cagayan to her new assignment Sta.Ana, Cagayan, she took this opportunity to widen her horizons in helping others especially Sta.Anians. It may be hidden and underrated but battling against mixed emotions for being away from her family and away from her comfort zone just to fulfill her sworn duties and obligations is also a heroic deed in this time of pandemic. Selfless indeed.

Ma’am Maribel is a new high caliber supervisor, not to mention her numerous achievements during her journey of becoming what she is now. There were various awards and recognitions to honor her endeavors such as SIRIB Cagayan Researcher proponent, Multi-awarded Principal III of Tuao and a lot more. The saying is precise, success doesn’t yield over night. In Ma’am Maribel’s journey she also took the long road that honed and prepared herself for this new assignment of this new norm.

Others might think that she’s too young to be a supervisor but with her experience, skills, compassion and optimism these made her ready to lead and overseer the trek to reached the pinnacle of wisdom for the learners.

Hindi nawawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ni Ginang Raquel Fernandez matapos siyang mahirang bilang Most Outstanding Teacher sa Distrito ng Santa Ana ngayong taon. Siya ay kasalukuyang guro ng Kinder sa Casambalangan Elementary School.

Layon ng nasabing parangal na kilalanin ang mga natatanging kontribusyon at dedikasyon ng mga guro. Dito rin kinikilala ang kanilang ambag para makapagbigay ng de kalidad na edukasyon sa bayan at sa mga bata. Lubos ang galak at pasasalamat ni Ginang Fernandez sa natanggap na parangal. Ang biyayang ito ay isa sa kanyang magiging inspirasyon upang mas lalong maging maayos niyang magampanan ang kanyang responsibilidad bilang guro. Labis naman ang pagmamalaking nararamdaman ng kanyang mga kapwa guro sa parangal na kaniyang tinamo.

Kamakailan lamang ay siya naman ay pinarangalan bilang pangalawa sa Most Outstanding Teacher Congressional Level na ginanap sa Gampao Gymnasium, lalawigan ng Gonzaga noong Disyembre 11, 2020.
