It has been a pleasure working with you and for you on the journey of learning for your 4th grader. Your children will reach the stars because of the foundation you have laid down and the guidance and support you have provided. As always, Channahon parents are second to none ~ always willing to do whatever it takes for our schools to succeed. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

As I end my teaching career of 29 years, it is your children that will remain the most vivid in my memory. Their successes, accomplishments, and most of all their smiles are already etched in my mind forever. I am taking a part of them with me.

4th-grade class picnic ~ may 26th

We are planning a POT-LUCK style lunch. Each class brings ONE item.

TEAM VALENTINO ~ Everyone brings ONE LARGE BAG of chips to share.

The other classes will be bringing hot dogs, buns, paper products, veggies & dip, fruit, and desserts to share.

We need items brought to school by TUESDAY, MAY 24, so we know if we have enough for everyone!

CHILDREN MAY BRING THEIR OWN SACK LUNCH if they prefer. CHILDREN MUST bring their own water bottle.

camp invention is back!

I hope many of you are considering signing up for Camp Invention! I will be teaching one of the modules again this summer. I sent a flyer home with the students last week, but here are the details:

• June 20-24 ~ 8:30 to 3:00 each day

• 1st-5th grade all held at the Junior High

• Cost is $75 after Channahon discount

MAY 26 ~ All school kickball tournament & 4TH GRADE PICNIC (Cafeteria will NOT be serving hor lunch this day)

MAY 27 ~ LAST DAY FOR STUDENT ATTENDANCE ~ 11:30 Dismissal
