At Cranberry, VEX is an experienced program. Nonetheless, our teams have performed exceptionally well over the past six years. During these years we've had eighteen teams qualify for Worlds; of which our 2023 senior team had qualified four years in a row. Last year, we had one elementary team, one middle school team, and two high school teams attend VEX's World competition in Dallas, Texas.

Although the number of teams is yet to be determined, we are positive that they will all work hard and excel in all their endeavors this year.

Our goal at Cranberry is to continue educating and inspiring the youth of Venango County and all of Western Pennsylvania to pursue interests and careers in the STEAM fields through robotics. Each year; between classes and our afterschool club, we have over 100 students in our two robotics programs, BEST Robotics and VEX Robotics, and we hope to only grow that number in years to come.

The year after everything shut down. Students were back in the building and operating on a modified schedule. They existed in two modules that swapped back and forth throughout the week. At any point in time only half the team was there, unless their parents brought them in after school. Our VEX IQ students did not compete during the virtual year, as the logistics of such a feat would have been extremely difficult with the 20+ teams we have yearly.
"Airror 4-OH-4" was able to earn the Amaze Award that year, which qualified them to compete at Virtual Worlds.

This was our first year of VEX robotics.
"The A-Team" - won the Design Award, unfortunately it was not a World qualifier that year.
You'll notice several of these faces competing in later years and even helping host events across Pennsylvania.
