About Me

I've lived in Chicago my whole life and can't imagine myself anywhere else. In my free time I like to play board games and video games, do yoga, bike around the city, bake, and create. I'm a huge dog lover, so I volunteer with One Tail at a Time animal rescue.

My goal as a counselor is to work with students, parents, and teachers to address the personal, academic, and career/college needs of our students. Topics that I address include friendship, general academic struggles, executive functioning skills, behavior, loss, conflict, self esteem, and more.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any comments, questions, or concerns. I look forward to getting to know more of the students, parents, and teachers at Nettelhorst each school year!

Mission Statement

Nettelhorst School's Counseling Department aims to provide a comprehensive, student-centered school counseling program that addresses the unique needs of all students, including diverse learners and English language learners.  The school counseling program seeks to foster multiculturalism, social responsibility, and personal accountability and maximize students' potential to attain high academic and personal standards. Through data-driven direct and indirect service, the counseling program will provide the resources and support needed to ensure equity, access, and success for all, so that students may become creative and critical thinkers in a global society.
