Sam Director

As of Fall 2024, I am a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Richmond's Jepson School of Leadership Studies. I was previously an assistant professor of philosophy at Florida Atlantic University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brown University's Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. In May 2021, I completed my doctorate in the Philosophy Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Before beginning my PhD, I graduated from Whitworth University. 

In addition to research, I take teaching  very seriously and see it as  an incredibly important part of philosophy.
