Mrs. Kimi Fisher :)

Carmel Elementary School, Second Grade Teacher

My name is Kimi Fisher, and I have been teaching second grade for twenty-eight years. What is even more amazing is that I have been in the exact same classroom in the same school the entire time! I feel so lucky to be a teacher at Carmel Elementary! C.E. kids rock! I live in Cicero, Indiana with my husband Eric. We have two children, Kati and John. Kati lives in Washington, D.C. and works for AARP. (perfect timing now that I'm 51!!!) John is a freshmen at Syracuse University majoring in Communications. Mr. Fisher and I are adjusting to life without children in our house! We actually miss all the noise! We love to go on vacations to the beach, go shopping, have family movie night, and go out to dinner. I don't like to cook, but I love to make chocolate chip cookies! I grew up in Noblesville, Indiana and attended Ball State University. I knew from the age of five that I would grow up to be a teacher some day. My favorite teacher was my second grade teacher. I hope some of my students will say the same thing about me some day!

o Carmel Elementary School utilizes Canvas as the primary source of communication with families. Please log in to Canvas to access my course.
