This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, opportunity numbers DHS-20-TTP-132-00-01, and DHS-21-TTP-132-00-01. The Begun Center for Violence Prevention, Case Western Reserve University, in partnership with the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center have focused this training to address the needs of its public safety partners across Northeast Ohio. The FY20 grant, Preventing and Assessing Rural Threats (PART) for first responders, provided funding to develop this online training, while FY21 funding for Detection, Reporting, and Intervention of Violent Extremism in Rural and Suburban Communities (DRIVERS) continues and expands this work.
