In Spring 2020, Byron was awarded a Competitive Robotics Hub. We wrote numerous funding grants and were able to acquire new equipment to build out our space. With the money we spent the summer remodeling the entire space and setting up our new shop, servers, computer workstations, and fields. Finally, after hours of repainting, adding closets, and cleaning out all the remaining materials, the Byron Competitive Robotics Hub was complete.

Due to the pandemic last year, we were not able to allow others to collaborate in our space. Now that our rooms will be opening up to more in-person interactions, we have invited several teams in our area to come and use our space. Our large selection of shop tools and, wooden half field provided by Mr. Gunter and Mr. Faulkner is going to be available for all teams in our area.
