I'm looking forward to the new school year and I am beyond excited to be your new Kindergarten Teacher. Summer will fly by and before we know it we will be in school!!

Here are a few things I recommend you work on through the summer:

*Read!!!! Read to your child, have them read to you, or both! It's the best way to prepare them for Kindergarten. Visit my storytime tab and they can hear stories read by myself and others.

* Holding a pencil, pencil grip and writing their name

*Practice letter recognition - upper and lower case.

*Number Recognition

*Coloring, this will help to create a strong pencil grip

*Holding scissors

*Patterning
