Getting to know Mr. Malgradi:

• I played baseball at Fresno State.

• I coached college softball for over 10 years and coached baseball & softball at every level for the last 22 years.

• I've been married for 19 years.

• I have a daughter that's 11 years old.

• I have been a Junior High School, High School, and Junior College professor for 11 years combined. Subjects included: Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Injury Prevention, and Athletic Training 101.

• I have been teaching at Benjamin Franklin High School for the past 3 1/2 years.

• I really enjoy my beach time.

• Favorite music is Country.

Letter to Physical Science Students & Parents

Dear: Parents & Students

I'm so excited to be a part of your Science journey. The school year will be full of excitement, failures, and tons of successes. What makes me so enthusiastic with Science is how often we get to be wrong and learn to be correct. The journey is so much fun!!!!!!! Our first semester will have a focus more of a Chemistry background and our second semester will focus more on Physics. My goal is that when each student completes this school year, they will be more well prepared for High School Science classes and they will have a better grasp of the daily Science around each and everyone of them. I am always available for questions, clarification, and more practice. (Yes, I know exact practice YIKES) I will work to stay consistent in communication and clear with expectations. A couple recommendations:

• View my website a couple times a week. I will post my weekly lesson plans, homeworks packets, lab worksheets, and any other resources for our class at an expedited pace.

• If you ever have questions or concerns don't hesitate to call, email, or set up a time to meet. (Student or Parent)

• Have fun in Science class, I know I will.
