Mrs. Baca

Welcome! I am your student's math teacher, Mrs. Baca-Lesperance, also known as Mrs. Baca. This is my 8th year teaching middle school and my 3rd year at Eisenhower. I was raised on a small farm in the heart of the South Valley and graduated from Rio Grande High School. I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in mathematics from the University of New Mexico! I am currently back in school pursuing a MBA in Education Leadership at UNM! Go Lobos!

The best thing about being a teacher is the students I get to teach every day! Their sense of humor, laughter, and their desire to learn is why I became a teacher. This school year I will be teaching 6th Grade Math. My goal this school year is to share my passion for math with all of my students in hopes that I create life long learners.

When I am not teaching, lesson planning, or grading, I am drinking coffee while wondering the aisles of Target or Costco, reading a book, or spending time with my niece and nephews. I also enjoy the Balloon Fiesta, live Mariachi Music, and traveling to watch a baseball game. I am a God fearing person and work hard every day to be humble, kind, and loving.
