Welcome!

Greetings! My name is Alex Johnson-Jiménez. I'm a National Board Certified teacher and have held that certification for 15 years. I currently serve as the Dean of Middle School Students. eCademy K-8. I started my teaching career in New York City and have been in APS for the past 18 years. I taught 3rd -5th grades at East San José Elementary School before teaching 6th - 8th science at Hayes Middle School.

I'm here to collaborate with you on ensuring our students not only receive a rigorous educational experience but also feel a sense of community, connection, and are able to establish relationships with their peers and teachers. To this end, please do not hesitate to contact me with question, comments, and/or concerns you may have. When we engage in respectful and collaborative conversations we can ensure our students see us as partners in supporting their academic and social growth.

¡Saludos! Mi nombre es Alex Johnson-Jiménez. Soy un maestro certificado Nacional y he tenido esa certificación por los últimos 15 años. Este año, me desempeño como Decano de Estudiantes de Escuelas Intermedias. Comencé mi carrera en la ciudad de Nueva York y he estado en APS durante los últimos 18 años. Enseñé tercero a quinto grado en la escuela primaria East San José antes de enseñar ciencias de sexto a octavo grado en la escuela secundaria Hayes.
