ICRA 2022 Workshop

Determining Appropriate Metrics and Test Methods for Soft Actuators in Robotic Systems

in Philadelphia, USA

The goal of this workshop is to bring together the community to discuss relevant metrics and test methodologies for said metrics to provide a more comprehensive understanding of soft actuators and promote a common language when discussing metrics. This workshop is intended for soft roboticists interested in strengthening the community through the development of common metrics and test methodologies for soft actuators. The intended outcome of this workshop is an initial agreement on valuable metrics and test methodologies to promote a comprehensive characterization of actuators.
