The National High School Coaches Association has announced its awards for the 2008-2009 Boys Swimming and Diving season. Zeeland's Michael Torrey is the recipient of this prestigious award. Longevity, service, and success are the criteria used to give this award. The success that Zeeland Swimming has enjoyed is due to Mike Torrey's outstanding effort and dedication. Congratulations Mike Torrey for all your hard work.
Congratulations to the Varsity and JV teams for a great season. Special Award winners were Most Valuable, Jason Vander Plaats, Most Improved Jonah Heemstra, Rookie of the Year, Isaac Perez, Coaches Award winners were Jacob Heemstra and Jake Lampen.
BOYS SWIM/DIVE TEAM: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE WEST MICHIGAN RELAYS ARE ON DEC. 19TH at the HOLLAND AQUATIC CENTER. DIVING IN THE AM AND SWIMMING IN THE PM.
Boys swim/dive practice begins November 23, 24 and 25 from 9-11 am. A full schedule will be available at the parent/athlete meeting that is TBA. You will not be allowed to practice without a physical !!
Zeeland Girls Swimming/Diving

The girls team finished second at the Halloween Meet on Saturday. Best efforts were turned in bySarah Rapisarda, Melanie Hoeve, Brianna Berens, Erin Leestma Kaitlyn Mariuz, Leah Ritsema, Meli Dali Hayli Vander Yatch, Madison Bybee, Chelsea Settlemyre, Bri Smith, Amelia Hann, and Karen Moreno. Thanks to Linda Schmidt, Lori Gras and Heidi Berens for the volunteerism that goes above and beyond the expected.
