Family Friendly Network

Zion Lutheran Church is a Family Friendly Network Partner Church

 MISSION
Partnering with homes to strengthen and pass on faith in Jesus Christ to the third and fourth generation.

What is the Family Friendly Partners Network?

The family friendly partners network trains and equips clusters of congregations to become intentional Christian family forming centers. These churches desire to invest resources in a three-year process to become partners with Christian marriages and homes to deliberately pass on faith in Jesus Christ to the next generation. They receive training and coaching through a series of nine workshops. Congregations with or without a Christian Day School or Pre-school are active network participants.

 What is the Process?

Over the course of two to three years, partner church leaders gather nine times to be trained to lead a process to move their congregations toward a Family Friendly Church. They will explore topics of marriage, parent education, human sexuality, resource management, step parenting, single parent ministry and training parents in faith formation. In the end, a church will include in its mission: Program and structure a church wide passion, knowledge, and resources for building strong Christian homes and marriages.
