 York Volleyball Club is a Volley 1 ClubMark accredited club. All standards are catered for, with coaching for beginners and less experienced players by registered Volleyball England coaches. We have junior sessions at Huntington School. During the indoor volleyball season (Sept. - April), there are team-specific training sessions on a Tuesday evening. In the summer we mix everyone together. We also play in several summer tournaments and host an outdoor tournament, the York Volleyball Festival, taking place this year on Sunday 12 July 2009. Club sessions take place all year round.
We welcome everyone, whether you want to play in a team or not. We have four teams:
Home matches are played at York College; National League matches on Sundays and local league matches on Monday evenings. What Will it Cost Me?Your first 2 sessions are free! If you want to play on a casual basis, each 2 hour session is £5 (£3.50 for concessions/students). If you want to play in league matches, you must become a club member and make the regular monthly payments. Club Joining Fee £30 (£70 for National League players) The remaining costs are spread over 12 months of the year, payable by standing order.
