We'd finished our shopping in early November, but we kept looking at ornaments and not finding anything that tickled us.  The problem is, we just don't routinely go to the kinds of stores that have nice things like this, unless we make a special trip, and we'd done all our shopping from Amazon wishlists except one trip through Champlain Chocolatiers, Cabot, the Vermont Teddy Bear store, and Cold Hollow Cider Mill, none of which had anything right, unfortunately.  (Was really thinking one of them might, too.)

So we finally set to searching around online again, and this time we found this rainbow witch ball from Magical Omaha.  When it arrived, we were surprised how big it was.  The colors came out pretty good in the picture, but they're a bit brighter than that, though against the green of the tree, they're not as striking.
