Au sein du groupe Essilor, nous nous sommes toujours intéressés de près aux tendances du marché des technologies de l'information : nous avons créé notre premier intranet en 1995 et installé Google Search Appliance en 2006 sur l'intégralité de notre réseau. Aujourd'hui, deux tendances se dessinent très clairement : d'une part, l'avancée rapide du travail collaboratif, qui prend une place de plus en plus importante dans l'univers quotidien des employés et, d'autre part, la consumérisation de l'informatique, c'est-à-dire, la fusion qui s'opère peu à peu entre les technologies utilisées au bureau et à la maison.
