Washoe Democrats Jefferson Jackson Brunch Is a Huge Success

Great thoughts, terrific people and good food made for an excellent 2009 Washoe County Democratic Party Jefferson Jackson Brunch.

Nearly 500 people from all over Nevada attended the Party’s largest-ever JJ celebration (special thanks to all you folks from Las Vegas that joined us this year!).

Keynote speaker Thom Hartmann, along with Clark County Commission Chair Rory Reid and Assembly Speaker Barbara Buckley, shared powerful thoughts on the positive differences that Democrats are making. They reminded us how important our work together is to Nevada and to our country.

Many thanks to all who made the day possible through their work on the JJ Brunch Planning Committee, the volunteers who helped at the event and everyone who attended. Many thanks also to our terrific emcee, Reno City Councilwoman Jessica Sferrazza.

It was another great day to be a Washoe Democrat!
