The Seattle chapter of Chefs Collaborative, a nationwide network of restaurateurs supporting sustainable agriculture and fisheries, works with chefs and the greater food community to celebrate local foods and foster a more sustainable food supply. Their aim is to serve as a link between producers and chefs throughout the Seattle area.

The Seattle "convivium" of the international Slow Food movement celebrates the pleasures of local foods. Slow Food Seattle was instrumental in adding the Ozette Potato to the Arc of Taste, which was established to preserve threatened regional foods.
