Our Library

We are very proud of our excellent collection of both general and Judaic books, reference and audio-visual material.

HOURS:         8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. 

Before and after school – everyone welcome!

1st Recess- Grades 1 to 3 students only

2nd recess is divided into three parts: Grades6/7, Grades 1/2/3 and Grades 4/5 3rd recess - closed except to individual students with pass to do academic work

Class time  - the library uses a flexible schedule.  As a result, use may be limited occasionally due to classes, meetings, or other activities in session.  Please respect a ‘closed’ sign on the door.

LOANS:  Parents and students may borrow up to 3 books for 2 weeks. 
Note:  Loans of current Jewish holiday materials may be limited to ensure teachers’ access for classroom use.
OVERDUES: Overdue books must either be returned or renewed before other books can be signed out.

Note:  Report cards at end of term will not be given out until overdue books are either returned or paid for.  Note: If you pay for a lost book that turns up later, library staff will be happy to reimburse you.

STAFF: Doreen Papadopoulos (Library Technician 1.0) and Pat White (Teacher Librarian 0.5).  Staff hours are posted on Library door.   
Our Library Technician keeps the Library operating on a daily basis; our Teacher Librarian  works with classes and teachers to integrate their curriculum with information literacy skills.  Parent, student and community volunteers are an integral part of  the library and greatly appreciated.
