As a community Jewish day school, our students rise to the challenge of completing the BC curriculum in half the time allotted to almost every other child in the province. The second half of each school day is devoted to Judaic studies where, in addition to learning the Hebrew language (and following the highly effective Tal Am program in the primary grades), our students study the Torah, the Talmud, Jewish history, and Jewish culture, holidays and traditions. We aim to develop well-rounded students who are equally competent in solving a quadratic equation as pondering the intricacies of Jewish law. Post Vancouver Talmud Torah, our students gain acceptance to King David High School and are also well-represented in many of the city's "mini-schools" and private schools. Our talented faculty superbly prepare our students for the rigors of secondary school. |  |
