Although a uniform says little about the learning and
growth
that takes place in a school, it does to our bond as a group and our respect
for standards. A key aim is to release students and parents from the bonds of

Why We Wear Uniforms - To help build school spirit based on a sense of unity and identification with a special and unique group: Vancouver Talmud Torah.
- To help avoid competition based on looks and clothing. That is why we particularly request that you do not allow your child to deviate from the required uniform. We encourage individuality by having the students develop standards of excellence in their spiritual, physical and intellectual lives.
- We believe that being a grown-up lasts for a long enough time. Elementary schooling should be relatively free of the pressures of being cool and having to conform to the ‘ways of the world’.
- Having a uniform, the pieces of which usually last the full year, saves you a lot of money; you don't have to submit to every new fashion fad.
- All uniform items are available through our official uniform supplier, Cambridge & Company. Items ordered will be delivered to the school.
