Our mission is to develop well-rounded individuals who can think critically and become contributing members of both the Jewish community and Canadian society. As the largest Jewish day school in Western Canada, and with a rich 90+ year history of excellence in the core curriculum and Judaic studies, Vancouver Talmud Torah has taught multiple generations of families. In fact, some of our faculty have taught both parent and child, and several of our teachers spent their primary years at our school. We attract families from across Greater Vancouver, and even have school bus service (optional) for our Richmond families. We are proud of our diverse student body and proud of our commitment to serve the varied learning styles of our students. Our pluralistic community makes for a dynamic learning environment in which every child's unique background and strengths are valued and respected. All applications to our school are carefully screened and reviewed to ensure fit for your child and fit with our school. In addition to completing an application form, all documentation must be accompanied by a $50 per student non-refundable application fee.
