Discipline Plan

First Grade Discipline Plan

Classroom Responsibilities and Expectations:

1.  Respect Others (Treat others as you would want to be treated.)

2.  Listen and Follow Directions

3.  Raise Your Hand to Share With the Class

4.  Sit Properly at Your Desk with Your Feet in the Garage

5.  Keep Your Hands, Feet, and Objects to Yourself

Rewards for Good Behavior:

At the end of each day, each student who honored the classroom responsibilities and expectations will receive a sticker on their conduct chart along with a ticket.

At the end of each week, each student with 5 tickets may select an item from the treasure chest!

Each student who received stickers all week will receive a hero buck to be used at the Spirit Store at the end of each 9 week period.

 

If You Choose To Break The Rules:

1. verbal warning

2. number on board = 5 minutes taken away from recess

3. number on board with check = 10 minutes taken away from recess

4. number on board with 2 checks = no recess


Conduct charts are located in your child's homework folder.  At the end of each week a conduct grade is given.

Determination of Conduct Grade:
A = up to 2 checks received during the week (number on board twice = one check)
B = 3 checks received during the week
C = 4 checks received during the week
D = 5 checks received during the week
U = 6 or more checks received during the week
