 Second grade is a very special and important year for those students who are Catholic. They will be making two very special sacraments this year, First Penance and Holy Communion. It is important that your child attend mass on Sundays, not only to set good examples as Catholics, but to help them become familiar with our beliefs and to better prepare them to receive the sacraments.  These are important dates for the upcoming year. Please remember the dates and times may change. Thursday, Feb. 4-First Penance/First Communion Parent's seminar 7pm in church. *This is a mandatory meeting. At least one parent must attend. Thursday, March 4-First Penance 7pm. Meet in church by 6:45pm Wednesday, May 5-First Communion practice, 7pm in church. Meet in church by 6:45pm Saturday, May 8-First Communion 10am. Meet in front of church by 9:40am. |
